Building lives for the future

Careline Home Support offers a range of comprehensive community based services supporting people at home, providing Personal Care, Domestic Services & Support. Our services support the drive to reduce the time people spend in hospital and speed up the process of hospital discharge.

To enable those who need help because of extreme frailty, disability or illness to live as comfortable and independent a life as possible in a clean home environment our services include:

Personal care for an independent life

Befriending Support service: to enable access to activities (outings) and home support

Bathing service: within clients own home/care facility (nursing home - day centre - sheltered housing)

Domestic care: Light household tasks, broadly concerned with cleaning and assistance with daily living

Shopping service: For food and other household essentials, paying bills, collecting pension etc

Escorting service: outings, shopping, hospital appointments

Sleepovers: providing support throughout the night

Evening tuck in service: assisting clients to prepare and get into bed

Monitoring alert system (for vulnerable clients). The carer calls on arrival at their clients home, this alerts the senior staff member on-call that the service is underway

We aim to tailor your service to meet individual needs, your well-being is of paramount importance to us.  We encourage feedback and client participation. Without your input to your service we cannot continue to improve the high quality of our service.  Ensuring we get things right and making our clients feel comfortable with our service and what we do for our clients enable us to adhere to our policy which is:

Everyone requiring help or support will want someone who is caring, knowledgeable, and accessible, someone willing to take the time to go over all of the options available and to be treated as a person, not just a name.  At Careline Home Support we pride ourselves on our service.  We offer friendly, knowledgeable, well-trained staff, up-to-date with our policies and procedures to promote safety and choice.

Clients can use Careline Home Support for just a few hours a week or several hours every day, up to 24 hours 7 days a week. These hours can be flexible to suit individual needs and to fit in with individual lifestyles.  We support our clients to live comfortably and safely in their own home.  We will help people to be independent and have more choice about how they live.

We believe that everyone has the right to live how they want.  If clients wish to try new hobbies and activities, we can help find what is available. If clients want to get more involved in their community, we can provide support to get out and about. Careline Home Support has very high professional standards.  We make sure our staff are well trained and all have joined PVG Scheme and have Enhanced Disclosure Scotland checks.  We aim to help our clients feel safe and we will respect their privacy.  We will listen to what each individual wants and what they say about our service.
